Wild Animal Park
The Parks at Chehaw provide nearly 800 acres of fun, including a 100-acre, AZA-accredited zoo, Chehaw Wild Animal Park. Noted naturalist and Albany native Jim Fowler of TV''s Wild Kingdom, originally designed the park and is still involved with updates and expansions. The Parks feature BMX bike racing, disc golf, campgrounds, nature trails, petting zoo, miniature train and one of the state''s largest play parks for kids.

Flint RiverQuarium & Imagination Theatre
The Flint Riverquarium follows the rivers amazing 350-mile journey to the sea and the 175,000 gallon Blue Hole is one of only a few open-air aquariums in the world. Get a unique look at Southwest Georgias mysterious underwater world with more than 100 species of fish, turtles, alligators, snapping turtles and other creatures that make the Flint River their home. Albany Civil Rights Institute
In 1961, crowds gathered at Mt. Zion and neighboring Shiloh Baptist Church to hear Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The 1906 church now gives voice to a key part of the 1960''s history of Albany.
